Playa del Ingles is one of the most well known beaches in Europe. It's incredibly popular and remains packed all year long. It's 3 kms long and located between Maspalomas beach and the beaches of San Agustín.
This is one of the most touristy beaches on the island and is a Mecca for package holiday nuts! It's a fun beach where you can do everything from jet skiing and waterskiing to sun bathing, swimming, partying and boozing. It's also popular with nudists and gays.
Beside the beach there is an attractive promenade where you can go for a nice and relaxing stroll. It's lined with beautiful tropical flowers and is a nice contrast to the often-hectic beach. It leads all the way up to the point where the natural park of the Maspalomas dunes begins.
Alternatively, you can take a stroll down the Paseo Marítimo, which is a 2km stretch packed with all kinds of bars, restaurants, fast food outlets and shops selling everything under the sun. It's covered with awnings, which you will be very grateful for if walking in the midday sun.
