If you want to go surfing, head to the North coast. Between La Palmas and Galdar, off-shore winds produce perfect and reliable waves, sometimes up to 5 metres high!

Other good surf spots include; Arinaga (on the east coast) and between Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas (in the south).

Renting equipment is never a problem. There are plenty of surf shops where you can hire boards, fins, wetsuits etc...
