The best place to go gambling in Gran Canaria is at the Hotel Taramindos Casino. It's very well known and is full of regulars; some of them serious players playing for big stakes!

It gets very packed, especially during peak season. Sometimes it's impossible to get a seat. The roulette and black jack tables are probably the most popular.

The stakes are considered by some to be quite high (between 2.5 and 5 euros per mark) so remember to go to the bank beforehand!

It's quite a serious place; perhaps not too suitable if you're just staring out. But if you know your stuff and like to gamble with big money it's an excellent location. It has plenty of black jack and roulette-tables and lots of slot machines. The décor is stunning and bar is very elegant (although a bit pricey).

To get in you'll need to become a member. Membership is free; all you'll need is your passport or some other valid ID-Card.
